Introduction for school trips and educational visits

The Albert Dock is Liverpool’s number one FREE visitor attraction, showcasing the best of Liverpool in a stunning World Heritage waterfront setting. 

Opened by Prince Albert in 1846, the Dock includes the largest group of Grade 1 listed buildings in the UK.

With award winning visitor attractions such as Tate Liverpool, Liverpool Duck Tours, The Beatles Story, The International Slavery Museum and The Merseyside Maritime Museum.

The Dock also offers a range of stylish bars and restaurants including Baby Cream, Circo, Raven, The Pan American Club, Blue and Gusto.

You can also find specialty souvenir and gift shops, unique Dock events and family activities throughout the year.

This depends entirely on the individual attraction, call for further information.

What size groups do they cater for?

The Albert Dock is an open space and can cater for up to 50,000 people.  However, there are restrictions for each attraction, tour etc.

Not at this moment in time.  Some attractions such as The Beatles Story have their education packs available to download on-line which include risk assessments etc.

To enter the Albert Dock complex it is completely free of charge.  Tate Liverpool, Merseyside Maritime Museum and International Slavery Museum are free also.
