The original barns dating from 1840 and built from local stone, they have been sympathetically converted and carefully furnished by Mrs Hickman retaining many of their original features. Norton is a 2,000 acre estate surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside, you are welcome to walk the estate and explore the surrounding countryside. Each of the four cottages opens on to its own garden area with furniture. They are grouped around a central courtyard with tennis courts, indoor heated swimming pool and gymnasium. Electric included. Full CH included. Electric fire. Parking, Shops 3/4 mile. Colour TV Radio/cassette player. Two shared utility room. Microwave oven. Dishwasher. Freezer. Garden area. Patio furniture. Duvets with linen and towels. Why is this venue great for School Trips and Educational Visits? For an educational visit we can suggest nature walks on the estate, seeing plenty of birds and small animals. An iron age fortress site with original trench intact. In the local area visit Shropshire Hill Discovery Centre, Acton Scott Working Farm, Iron Bridge Gorge and Museum. Or Stokesay Castle where atonement with keira knightly was filmed. What size groups do they cater for?
