Belchamps Scout Activity Centre offers packages form simple campsite space through to activity days and residential experiences. Our wide range of activities include High ropes, Climbing, Archery, Team building, fire lighting, cooking, orienteering and Assault course. Why is this venue great for School Trips and Educational Visits? Scouting is the largest co-educational youth organization in the UK. It has been successful for over 100 years now in teaching communication skills, decision making, teamwork leadership and personal development. Participants follow our philosophy of “learning by Doing” and our qualified staff work directly with groups of between 10 and 12 participants to achieve positive learning outcomes. It is our aim to make the experience fun, interesting and as exciting as possible. What size groups do they cater for? Max indoor accommodation 120 What can they provide you with to support you? We are happy to provide any information packs, work sheets to support you. How do you book a risk assessment? What does it cost? On activity days supervising(non participating) adults go free, for residential small cost for catering. Activity days from £5 per head for half day (2 activity’s) Is specific clothing required? Dependant on activities undertaken. Please call for further information. Do you have first aid on site? All our staff are first response trained. What facilities do they have for school trips and educational visits? Shop and vending facilities available selling sweets, hot drinks, crisps, cold drinks and souvenirs. Indoor Hall and outside picnic area available for groups who want to bring packed lunches. Are there disabled facilities? Disabled toilets, most activities are accessible by wheel chair, adapted pedal kart, staff are used to working with disabled people.
