School Trip & Group Educational Information

We are located in a beautiful 40 acre site surrounded by the river Enbourne and woodland.The farm was previously a working cattle farm but has recently been renovated and includes 20,000sqft covered area housing many types of animal, reptiles and insects that are fully tame, trained and used for shows and visits to schools and other venues.

We also have a large indoor play area as well as loads to do outdoors including quad biking, paintballing, builder’s world, pedal cars, electric tractors, slides, climbing frames, nature trails, obstacle courses and more!

Group sizes:   up to 200

Age ranges:  2-12 yrs

Additional Information: Basic worksheets provided based around the farm animals and activities.  Suggestion sheet for teachers regarding projects in the classroom relating to farms and farming.

Teachers are welcome to do pre-arranged risk assessments for free by appointment.

First aid on site.

Clothing dependent on weather conditions (if it rains wear wellies and mac) lots of under roof activities on site.

Activities information: Age 4-7  Group activities including Pig racing, reptile and insect handling, indoor/outdoor adventure play, small animal handling. Seasonal activities – bottle feeding lambs, handling chicks/ducklings, tractor trailer rides, pony rides.

Team building activities – Sheep herding, Paint ball target shooting- involves groups of children to work together to collect materials and construct targets and more mini group team exercises. Team competition –Quad biking, small obstacle courses.
All ages – Learning the basics in animal handling care and behavior. Handling of Reptiles and insects including snakes, spiders and scorpions.
Nature trail that naturally fits in with classroom activities.

Facilities Include: Full toilet facilities – disabled andbaby changing, Pocket money shop and Canteen serving hot and cold food from snacks to full meals – to be ordered at time of booking.
