Group sizes

Catering for individuals, families, small groups to large classes, we aim to create inspiring, imaginative, innovative and enjoyable learning experiences by developing multi-sensory information and communication technologies that cater for all ages, social backgrounds and learning disabilities, engaging you in thought and discussion, developing community relationships, and capturing your imagination and emotions.

Education Sessions

A range of taught educational sessions are available in our purpose built Discovery Room. These include the following topics, and custom made topics can be made with pre-arrangement. Sessions are designed around the National Curriculum with pupils having the opportunity to get up and close to one or more of our exotic encounter animals and artefacts during most sessions.

Outreach

If you can’t make it to the Park, why not let the Park come to you. With a range of sessions or just general meet and greet our education officer will bring a variety of exotic animals and artefacts to your school.

Recommendations

It is advisable to suggest wearing footwear that does not have slippery soles or high heels, especially in damp or wet weather and during evening events.

First Aid on site

There is a full time First Aider on duty every day whilst the Park is open. In addition, full time members of staff who are also qualified to administer first aid, support the First Aider. It is company policy not to administer any pills, creams, potions or sprays. However, the Park does have a small supply of provisions available to purchase on site.

Variety of indoor and outdoor food venues including restaurants, café’s, snack bars, burger outlets etc
Picnic  tables throughout the park, with large picnic area near entrance to Discovery Trail.
