WEBSITE LINK: http://www.lakeside-superbowl.co.uk/ TELEPHONE: 01295 251222 School Trip & Group Educational Information Lakeside Superbowl started in Newbury in November 1992, and since then has expanded to its current group size of 10 centres, by locating, in order, in Weymouth, Preston, Peterborough, Nuneaton, Stirchley, Chichester, Bishop's Stortford, Banbury, and Crewe. • The centres vary in size, from 12 bowling lanes up to 24 lanes, and all lanes have automatic scoring systems. There are also bumpers and ball ramps for younger bowlers. • Each centre has a bar, diner, amusements, pool tables, and disabled facilities, such as ramps and toilets. • Group sizes: Any size. Some centres can cater for up to 250-300 people. Check with local centre for more details • Age ranges: From primary school upwards (3-4 year olds can bowl with supervision) • Teachers are welcome to do pre-arranged risk assessments, All they need to do is contact the centre and speak to the duty manager • There is no particular person in charge of educational groups.
