For more details visit www.yhaschooltrips.org.uk £1 million funding available. Despite government commitments to school trips, many children don't get the chance to go away with their schools because their parents simply cannot afford it. As a result a third of children miss out on vital learning out of the classroom. YHA School Trips helps to fund places for financially disadvantaged children so they can join their friends or classmates on residential visits with YHA (England & Wales). A £3 donation from every YHA membership subscription goes into this designated fund - which now stands at one million pounds. Each new hostel is designed to offer wheelchair access, decorated in colour schemes to aid people with visual impairments, and many have had induction loops and tactile signage installed. While a minority of hostels have specific facilities for guests with disabilities, most can offer limited facilities, and aim to be as flexible as possible. Facilities vary widely; so always contact your chosen centre before booking to ensure the facilities are suitable for your needs. Featured Listing: NoMore Information
