We are a short distance from the town centre which can be walked to and also the train station. We have a 24 hour security reception. Why is this venue great for School Trips and Educational Visits? We are the perfect choice for educational visits, fieldwork study opportunities and recreational trips. We have fantastic beaches and lots of nearby attractions, excellent sporting facilities, stocks of fieldwork equipment and excellent seminar, lecture and laboratory facilities. What does a typical school trip or educational visit include? We can offer ‘taste of Uni’ packages. What size groups do they cater for? From 10 - 300. Please give information regarding room sizes and room facilities. All of our accommodations are single rooms located in corridors or self catering flats with up to 8 bedrooms per block with 2 shared bathroom/toilet facilities. We also have en-suite rooms. We have communal TV rooms available. Can you take photos, video or audio? Are there any copyright restrictions? Would need to be confirmed in certain areas. How do you arrange a risk assessment? Full risk assessments and fire checks/drills are all carried out regularly and can be provided. What does it cost? Our rates are £17.50 bed and breakfast standard room and £23.50 bed and breakfast en-suite room per night, £14.50 self catering standard room and £18.50 self catering en-suite room. Do you have first aid on site? Yes. What facilities do they have for school trips and educational visits? Restaurant/dining area, we provide breakfast, lunch, packed lunch, dinner at a rate of £6.00 per adult/child for all educational trips. Full classrooms, lecture theatres and labs available for teaching, and common rooms/computer rooms for socializing. We have internet access, wifi and computer rooms. Are there disabled facilities?
